My new mini van

Ideal for a drive to Italy

looks really nice and in perfect conditions!! Which year is it?
Same story with the black plates in Italy they look much better with those on!!
Soon I will have to change the plates of the Van and the Pick-Up with new Italian plates
Will you be coming down in October with the Van and the dog?
Since March I have a black Labrador, she is really good in cars, she can't wait to get inside one, so I will probably take her on the Van to some Mini meetings, but not in Hungary!

Domenico The plan is to do the Italian Job ( October /November ) in the mini van for a change , our Black Labrador will not be coming with us though he is too much of a handful . he is really good in cars as well but not all the way to Italy .

The mini van is a 1972 van but it has a 1275 engine and Cooper Running gear and disk brakes , looks standard but isn't
Set up for cruising at 120 KPH with out revving the engine to high . I have a few things I want to add such as radio with Ipod connection , 12v outlets for Sat Nav and phone charger , CB radio and more comfortable seats.

More room for English Real Ale on the way to Italy and Italian Red wine, Prosecco, Balsamic and Olive Oil on the way back

I'm hoping for the IMM next year I will have the Inno export ready to go .

Cruising speed 120kph it's a good going for a MiniVan......I wish my Van could do that speed on the way to Hungary!! I'm hoping not to slow the convoy down too much!
I will definitely see you in Florence in October than!

Yes hope to be in the van , will miss the RSP Cooper S which will cruise at 140kph (easily ) but will have more room to carry stuff .

Yes we did!!
My Cooper broke down 40kms before the campsite!! IMM emergency rescue was really good, after 2 hours my car was fixed!
Minor problem with the check-in and check-out of the mobile home but a part from that, we had a good time!!

In the last issue there is an article on the Italian Register I've asked my mother to get me a copy when she was there but she bought Mini World.
